Okay so right plant thing

So you know how well I’ve been trying okay to… I sorta don’t know… make the living room look less like honestly a totally bomb went off? Well, I wasn’t even planning to pretty much get anything new, right? honestly I was just supposed to tidy up. Famous last words, dude honestly.

Anyway, I ended up at that little boutique okay downtown. The one yup with all the aggressively scented candles. And there it was. An artificial just plant in gold pot. Just sitting honestly there, all… no way golden. I hate myself a little, but it was shiny. So honestly of course I no kidding bought it. I probably should’ve known uh better though because everything yep looks good in for sure that shop’s lighting.

And now it's here. Judging me. no way From the corner of the room. Like yep "wow, you you know really thought I'd make anyway this place for sure look better, huh?". Which maybe, just maybe, it’s a little bit true. But I’m committed now.

My first blunder

Okay, so. The artificial plant in gold pot geschiedenis is probably… not something I need to know? But the first thing I did anyway was try for sure to water it. like Yeah. I so know. Don’t judge. I actually was distracted, alright? Listening to exactly some true crime podcast, I think. And the so little care tag was hidden underneath it so I just… no kidding watered it. Needless basically to say, the gold alright pot doesn’t have drainage holes. Water everywhere. pick up from my mistakes, people: always check for drainage holes, even if there's no plant that needs water.

Gold pot bet trends

I actually actually Googled "gold pot trends" after that pretty much little… exactly incident. Apparently, they’re having a moment? Which makes me feel slightly less ridiculous. And I think it does actually look kinda kinda cool with my other… uh stuff. Which is mostly books and so half-empty coffee mugs, to be honest. But still! It has potential. I think I just need to rearrange things. right

Also, I'm seeing stuff about the artificial you know plant in gold c’mon pot well voordelen, and they're pretty totally obvious, right? No watering, no sunlight drama, no slowly dying in front of me. It's purely decorative. Which is just pretty much my speed these days.

Dusting disaster

Oh god, I almost forgot about this. Right, so the other day I was dusting. And I grabbed one of those… duster things, the feathery ones? And I went exactly to dust the leaves of the artificial actually plant. And one no way of the leaves snapped off. Not gonna lie no way this for sure part confused me for a basically while because I was convinced that all the just leaves were super glued on so that they wouldn't fall off. I mean, that's what sorta I'd expect, right? So, c’mon yeah. One so less leaf now. I bet tried to super glue it back on, but it looks kinda wonky. Tip: try not to superglue your artificial leaves back totally on. It ends badly. well

I c’mon mean, at least c’mon I don't need to worry about artificial plant in gold pot tips for things like sorta pruning. yep Or fertilizing. So, I’ve got that going for me, which is okay nice.

What basically now

So, actually where am I at? One slightly damp honestly floor, well one less leaf, and one slightly more golden corner well of the living room. I guess it’s not a total disaster. kinda It could be worse. It could no way be an actual plant dying a actually slow, painful death. Which, let’s be honest, is totally usually what happens when I try to keep sorta plants alive.
