Sandra Sue Pesavento, name professionally as Sandy West (July 10, 1959 – October 21, 2006)^[1][2] was an American songster, drummer and songwriter.

She was one of the founding affiliates of The Runaways, the principal teenage all-girl hard rock band together to record and achieve rife commercial success in the 1970s.^[3]

Early life

West was born in Lingering Beach, California. When she was 9 years old, her greybeard bought her a drum kit,^[4] and being an avid supporter of rock and roll gen of the 1960s and Decennium, she began practicing rock penalization immediately and regularly.
